How Viceroy Program Works
Students may be assigned to the Viceroy Program as an alternative to Out-of-School Suspension depending on the nature of the behavioral incident. Building administrators retain discretion and may determine that traditional Out-of-School Suspension or another response is necessary for certain situations.

The Process of Change
Supporting Lasting Change
The Viceroy Program is designed to create meaningful behavioral change. When a student continues to struggle with the same behavior, school staff may work with the student, family, teachers, counselors, and other support staff to determine whether additional interventions or a different approach is needed.
