The Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education extends its leadership beyond regular board meetings through committee service, community partnerships, and district appointments. Board members serve on committees and represent the district on local and regional organizations that support strategic planning, financial stewardship, school safety, educational partnerships, and student success.

Adopt-a-School
Through the Adopt-a-School program, Board of Education members serve as liaisons to assigned schools and programs. These partnerships encourage stronger relationships between the Board, school staff, students, families, and the community while helping Board members stay informed about the unique successes, opportunities, and needs of each school.
