Did you know that the first high school graduates in Sturgis, six in number, received their diplomas in 1874 or that Wenzel School, built in 1928, was built for $24,000?

To bring these, and many more stories to life, Sturgis Public Schools is partnering with Sturgis Historical Museum - At The Depot. The partnership will result in the development of a comprehensive historical display at Sturgis Central Commons. The display will include stories, pictures and artifacts.

If you have historical pictures or artifacts connected to the district please consider donating or loaning them for inclusion in the display. They can be dropped off at Sturgis Central Commons located at 107 W. West Street any weekday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to Karen Stimson in the Superintendent's office.
